Earlier in the month of December SouthFront.org noted the desperate attempts to push a “diplomatic solution” in Aleppo by the Obama Administration could be indicative of the administration “stalling for time” to extricate United States mercenaries and special service members from the Aleppo pocket.

Additionally, according to SouthFront.org, US- led coalition military advisers have been widely operating throughout Syria, training and assisting the “moderate opposition,” which is linked with al-Qaeda forces.

In October the sending of British advisors, prior to the recapture of the city of Aleppo by the Syrian government sources. Initially, the British advisors were tasked with training recruits to conduct armed combat, as well as to teach basic tactical medicine and combat strategizing and engineering; however, as the situation in Aleppo has changed, so has the tasks at hand.
